Ardie Jasso was born in Hollywood, California in the 70’s and was raised in Texas. In the early 80’s Ardie Jasso was introduced to the early electronic sounds and beats of Disco, Funk, and Hip-Hop. As a teenager, he was exposed to another fad, which was the mobile disco techs. He spent weekends and summers working the lights for his uncle’s mobile disco tech. Soon after, he was hooked. The stars were written as he would learn the skills to become a Dj himself.

In 2007, Ardie made his move to the big city of Dallas, Texas. He wanted to try and recapture what he had done in his hometown and expand his brand by playing in various bars and clubs. In 2009, he was digging for records at a Fort Worth, Texas record shop when he heard a sound that caught his ear. He asked the then owner who was the artist he was playing in the store. He was told it was an artist from the California Bay area named Felipe Avelar. He was later introduced to Felipe Avelar by the store owner and the rest is history. Felipe Avelra emphasized that the DJ culture was changing and was told that if he wanted to be noticed he needed to start creating his own sound and start producing his own music.
It would take a few years for Ardie to learn the skills needed to become a music producer. As Ardie would hone in on his skills, he learned to have confidence in his craft. In late 2020, he teamed up with Aaron Hensley. Ardie was able to put out two tracks under Ammo Recordings. Those two tracks gave him the confidence needed to move forward as a producer. Since then, Ardie Jasso has had a few more tracks under Ammo Recordings. In 2024 he released a few tracks under the Chicago House label Souljack Digital. In the summer of 2024, Ardie was invited to play in Chicago as a Souljack artist. Ardie Jasso is currently working on putting out new music with Ammo Recordings as well as Souljack Digital.
