BEHIND THE DECKS

Ardie Jasso was born in Hollywood, California in the 70’s and was raised in Texas. In the early 80’s Ardie Jasso was introduced to the early electronic sounds and beats of Disco, Funk, and Hip-Hop. As a teenager, he was exposed to another fad, which was the mobile disco techs. He spent weekends and summers working the lights for his uncle’s mobile disco tech. Soon after, he was hooked. The stars were written as he would learn the skills to become a Dj himself.

In the late 90’s, Ardie then took his sound and played in various clubs in El Paso, Texas. He later obtained a residency gig in early 2000 playing at the then legendary club of El Paso, The OP Night Club. He played at the OP Night Club until about 2007 where he was lucky to have played alongside some of the best Dj’s at the time. As Ardie made a name for himself in the club scene, he had the honor to play alongside with acts like Bad Boy Bill, JJ Flores and Steve Smooth, Dj Irene, Boy George, Richard Vission to name a few.
